RUSTON – Louisiana Tech had 66 student-athletes earn the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal, the league office announced Friday.
Â
It marks the fifth consecutive year that 60 or more Bulldogs and Lady Techsters have received the honor, which is awarded to student-athletes who maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year (based on fall quarter GPA).
Â
Four programs – bowling, football, men's basketball, and volleyball – either tied or set program records for Academic Medal recipients.
Â
Since joining CUSA in 2013, LA Tech has produced 696 Academic Medal honorees. Â This year's total of 66 ties for the second-most in program history.
