RUSTON -- Twenty-two student-athletes received their diplomas during the spring commencement ceremony held at the Thomas Assembly Center on Saturday, May 23.
The 32 graduates included Philip Beck (football), Sarah Chovanec (soccer), Emily Cleaveland (soccer), Antoinette Cobb (women's track), Brittany Davis (soccer), Nathan Davis (men's track), Kinsey Dinnel (men's track), Carly Dunlop (volleyball), Nick Grunenwald (baseball), Anthony Harrison (football), Breon Jackson (football), James Loe (men's basketball), Chris Lowery (football), Adriana Makowska (women's tennis), Kat McCullough (soccer), Dustin Mitchell (football), Dylan Moseley (baseball), Colby Prejeant (men's track), El Charrita Reynolds (women's track), Patrick Thomas (baseball), Christina Tupper (women's track), Keshia Warren (women's basketball), Brian White (football) and Amy Wolsted (women's soccer).
A total of 120 student-athletes earned a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 or higher in the spring quarter, while 20 posted a perfect 4.0.
The 20 student-athletes that posted a perfect 4.0 in the spring quarter included Emma Barnes (softball), Timothy Byrd (golf), KC Clayton (volleyball), Antoinette Cobb (women's track), Steven Cortez (men's track), Samantha Crowder (softball), Brittany Davis (women's soccer), Nathan Davis (men's track), Brandi DeCoux (women's soccer), Clint Ewing (baseball), Taylor Fritz (volleyball), Stephanie Hinz (women's bowling), Adriana Makowska (women's tennis), Kat McCullough (women's soccer), Dylan Moseley (baseball), Shawn Oliverson (men's basketball), Colby Prejeant (men's track), Ryan Robertson (golf), Zach Schuler (men's track) and Danielle Sheridan (softball).
For the second consecutive year, Louisiana Tech ranks No. 1 in the state of Louisiana and the Western Athletic Conference in student-athlete graduation rate.
