On the game:
"We are a young football team and we don't execute quite as well as Boise does. That's what they do. They just execute extremely well. They don't beat themselves, they don't make mistakes and we kind of played into their hands a bunch tonight."
On special teams play:
"We gave them some short fields early. That played right into their hands by really making it where they didn't have to drive the length of the field. Against a good offensive football team, if you give them short fields like that they are going to take advantage of it."
On turnovers:
"We've had too many fumbles. That is something that has hurt us. What happens is you get a couple of fumbles, and people see it, people realize it and so they are more conscience and try to strip the football. Right now we've probably got a reputation as a fumbling football team and we've got to fix that."
On going for fourth downs:
"We didn't come here to play a close game. We came here to win the football game. Field goals in those situations weren't going to do us a whole lot of good. So, we felt like the best thing to do was to give our players a chance to win and that's what they wanted. They wanted us to try to win the game and kicking field goals wasn't going to do it."
On not finishing possessions:
"We did a poor job in the red zone. If we score on those possessions all of a sudden we're in the football game. That's what we wanted to do, put our players in a position into the fourth quarter to win the game."
"Against a good football game that you're trying to match score for score, if you get in the red zone and don't capitalize it's going to be a long night for you."
On putting together long drives:
"This is what Boise does, they make you drive it the length of the field. They don't give you a lot of big plays. So what you have to do is execute. It's very difficult to execute 16-play drives without a negative play or penalty. The fact that we were able to do it against a very good defense is a credit to our players. We just have to be able to play at that level all the time."
On playing a Tuesday game:
"It was weird. Usually when you play a night game you're sitting around watching college football. Today I was watching soap operas. I saw Oprah today, hadn't seen Oprah in a while, so that was interesting."
