INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• With his 88-yard punt return for a touchdown in the third quarter, Phillip Livas tied the NCAA record with his eighth career touchdown scored on a kick return. Livas joins Cliff Branch, Johnny Rodgers, Derek Abney, Chad Owens and C.J. Spiller for first on the career list.
• The 88-yard punt return was a career-long for Livas.
• The 88-yard touchdown by Livas marked the third longest punt return for a score in Tech history and the third longest against San Jose State.
• Junior Lennon Creer had a career-long 66-yard carry in the first quarter.
• Creer totaled a career-high 252 yards rushing on 30 carries.
• Creer's 252 yards is the seventh best single-game performance in Tech history.
• Creer becomes the first Tech running back with 200-plus yards since Ryan Moats rushed for 224 yards against Tulsa on Nov. 13, 2004.
• Creer's three rushing touchdowns marks the first time a Tech running back has recorded three-plus touchdowns since Daniel Porter notched three last season against San Jose State.
• Creer becomes only the 16th Tech player to score three rushing touchdowns in a game.
• Taulib Ikharo's 14-yard reception in the second quarter marked the 10th time in 11 games this season that Ikharo has had a reception of over 10 yards.
• Ray Holley's four-yard touchdown run was the second of his career and the first since Oct. 2 at Hawai'i.
• Ryan Williams tallied his first career interception, gaining 18-yards in the first quarter.
• Williams' two interceptions marks the first multi interception game by a Louisiana Tech player since Deon Young picked off two passes against Nicholls State on Sept. 19, 2009.
• Matt Broha now has 13.5 career sacks which ties him for fourth all-time (Courtney Wallace, 1985-88) at Louisiana Tech.
• Ryan Allen's 66-yard punt in the first quarter marks a career-long.
• Christian Lacey picked up his first sack of the season and tallied his first career forced fumble.
• Justin Ellis notched his first career fumble recovery.
• Chad Boyd notched his fourth interception of the season.
• With 13 pass completions, Ross Jenkins tied Terry Bradshaw on Tech's all-time completions chart.
• Rob McGill made his 42nd consecutive start.
• Junior FS Justin Goodman made his first career start.

TEAM NOTES
• Tech's 51 second scoring drive to start the game marked the second fastest scoring drive of the season - the fastest was a touchdown scored in 16 seconds against Fresno State.
• Two of Tech's first three scoring drives were two of the three quickest scoring drives of the season.
• Tech's 374 rushing yards marks the fourth most in school history.

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Tech improves to 6-4 all-time against San Jose State including a 2-3 mark in games played at San Jose State.
• Tech now owns a four game winning streak in the series.
• The 83 combined points marks the most combined points in the series.
