Jelena Vucinic has clocked up an impressive list of sporting achievements, but the next month could top an already crowded highlight reel.

On September 3, she will leave Nelson to fulfil a childhood dream of playing basketball in the United States, having secured a full scholarship to Louisiana Tech University.
