RUSTON - Former Louisiana Tech All-Americans Adrienne Johnson and Shanavia Dowdell have picked up where they left off following the brilliant Lady Techster careers.

They are dominating the competition ... this time, overseas.

Johnson, the 2011 Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year, is currently playing in Bulgaria for Dunav8806 where she has led the team to a perfect 6-0 start while leading the seven-team league in scoring.

Through six games, Johnson leads the league in scoring, averaging 27.6 points per game and ranks third in rebounding at 11.2 rebounds per contest. She also ranks fifth in steals at 2.0 per contest.

Johnson has scored 20 or more in five of the six games, including a 40-point, 13-rebound performance in Thursday's win over Neftochimic. She is shooting 51 percent from the field and 87 percent from the free throw line and has recorded five double doubles.

Dowdell , the 2009 and 2010 WAC Player of the Year, is playing in the Australian League for Townsville F where she has helped the team to a 6-1 record through the first seven games.

Through seven games, Dowdell is averaging 18.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 59 percent from the field and 86 percent from the free throw line. She ranks sixth in both scoring and rebounding in the league.

Dowdell has recorded a pair of double doubles, including 21 points and 14 rebounds in the team's last game - an 84-77 loss to Sydney UF.
