RUSTON - As the wins keep coming, the votes keep increasing for Louisiana Tech in the Top 25 as this week the Lady Techsters picked up a total of 32 points in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll released Monday.
Louisiana Tech has won 14 straight games and is 21-5 on the year, and a perfect 13-0 in the Western Athletic Conference standings heading into Monday's night's nationally televised showdown with Nevada at 10 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
With the 32 points, Tech sits in 29th place trailing West Virginia (61), Georgia Tech (54) and Ohio State (43) in the others receiving votes category. Houston, a team that LA Tech led by 16 points midway through the second half before falling by four in late November, is ranked 25th in the country.
The ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll will be released on Tuesday.
