RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech's Gray squad knocked off the Black team by a score of 5-4 in a tight fourth game of the Fall World Series off a solo homerun to left center by Bre'shon Kimbell to break a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the eighth.

Tyler Qualls led the Gray team with a 2-4 performance at the plate and two runs batted in, while Kody Neel continued to impress at the plate for the Black team, notching two hits and two RBI, including a two-run homerun in the third inning to stay within one run of Gray.

Phil Maton allowed three hits and two runs in 4.2 innings pitched for the Gray, before being relieved by Sam Alvis and Adam Derouen, who closed out the game.

With the win, the Gray team now leads the series 3-1 and will have a chance to clinch Friday night in game five. The two teams will now take Thursday off before resuming the series at 6 p.m. Friday at J.C. Love Field for game five.
