Louisiana Tech vs. Southeastern Louisiana Nov. 28, 2012 Game Notes

• With the 99-62 victory, LA Tech now leads the all-time series 42-18 over Southeastern Louisiana. The Bulldogs are now 24-3 overall in Ruston against the Lions.

• The victory is the sixth straight for the Bulldogs, pushing their record to 6-1 on the season. SELU falls to 1-4 on the year.

• LA Tech starters remained the same for the seventh straight game - Cordarius Johnson, Kenneth Smith, Raheem Appleby, Brandon Gibson and Michale Kyser.

• The Bulldogs scored 99 points, the most since scoring 102 on Dec. 12, 2009 at Centenary in a double overtime game. It's the most points scored in regulation since scoring 102 on Nov. 20, 2001 in a win versus Harding.

• Raheem Appleby had a game-high 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting, making it the fourth time he has led LA Tech in scoring this season.

• Kenneth Smith had six steals for the second time this season, one short of the Bulldog record for most steals in a single game.

• Michale Kyser recorded four blocks making it the sixth time in seven games this season he has had at least two in a game.

• The Bulldogs started out the game shooting 20 percent from the field on 4-of-20 shooting. They finished the rest of the game shooting 31-of-43 for 72 percent.

• LA Tech forced 24 turnovers, the most this season, and scored 37 points off of those turnovers.

• As a team, the Bulldogs had 16 steals. That's the most steals in a single game since Jan. 17, 2007 when they had 19 against New Mexico State.

• LA Tech was down 22-8 with 6:45 to go in the first half, then scored 70 points in the next 20 minutes of action to take a 78-48 lead. Their largest lead of the game was 41.

• The Bulldog bench scored 37 points.

• Southeastern Louisiana was led in scoring by Dre Evans with 19 points.
