• With the 80-72 loss to McNeese State, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series 54-39 over the Cowboys.

• The Bulldogs fall to 8-3 on the season. The Cowboys improve to 5-3, increasing their current winning streak to four.

• Louisiana Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Cordarius Johnson for the 11th game in a row.

• This was the first loss of the season when the Bulldogs had the lead going into halftime. They were previously 7-0.

• There was a 23-minute delay in the game due to a lighting issue.

• J.L. Lewis came off the bench to score a team-high 14 points which was also a season-high for the senior.

• Michale Kyser recorded his first career double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
