Louisiana Tech at Northwestern State Dec. 4, 2012 Game Notes

• With the 89-83 loss, LA Tech now leads the all-time series 77-64 over Northwestern State.

• The Bulldogs seven-game winning streak ended, dropping them to 7-2 on the year. The Demons ended their three-game skid and are now 4-3.

• LA Tech starters were Cordarius Johnson, Kenneth Smith, Raheem Appleby, Brandon Gibson and Michale Kyser.

• LA Tech shot the basketball 84 times on the night, the most attempted field goals since Dec. 7, 1992 when they had 83 attempts versus Wyoming.

• Michale Kyser grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds, including 10 that were offensive. This marked the first time this season that a Bulldog player has gotten double digit rebounds in a single game.

• Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith led the team with 17 points apiece.

• Alex Hamilton had a career night as a freshman, scoring 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting in only 20 minutes of action off the bench.
