Louisiana Tech at San Jose State Jan. 24, 2013 Game Notes
• With the 76-54 win, LA Tech now leads the all-time series over San Jose State 16-9.
• The Bulldogs extend their winning streak to nine games and improve to 17-3 on the season. The Spartans drop their fourth straight and fall to 9-10 on the season.
• LA Tech remains undefeated in the WAC at 8-0. It's the first time the Bulldogs have won eight straight conference games since the 1999-00 season when they were in the Sun Belt, and it's only the second time in program history that they have started conference play 8-0 (1970-71 season in the Gulf State conference was the only other time).
• With the win, it's the first time the Bulldogs have won five straight road games since the 1999-00 season.
• LA Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Cordarius Johnson. This is the 18th (out of 20) game this season with this lineup.
• Michale Kyser had one block on the night, his 124th of his young career which moves him into sole possession of fourth on the all-time blocks list.
• Kenneth Smith had one assist, giving him 239 for his career which ties him for 10th place all-time.
• Alex Hamilton set a new career-high in three different statistical categories (six rebounds, eight assists and four steals).
• The LA Tech starters and bench each scored exactly 38 points in the winning effort.
• LA Tech is now 13-0 under coach White when holding their opponent to under 60 points.
• After making 13-of-14 free throws, it marked the first time this season that the Bulldogs have shot at least 90 percent from the foul line.
