RUSTON - LA Tech vs. Northwestern State Post-Game Notes (12/11/13)

• With a 93-71 victory at home, Louisiana Tech (8-2, 0-0 C-USA) now leads the all-time series 78-64 over Northwestern State (3-5).

• With a total of 93 points scored, tonight's game marks the fifth time Louisiana Tech has scored at least 90 points in a game this season.

• Raheem Appleby's 20 points in the first half vs. Northwestern State is the most points he has scored in a single half since scoring 21 in the second half at Chattanooga last season. Appleby finished the night with a team-leading 28 points.

• Kenneth Smith's 12 assists on the night is the most by any Conference USA player this season. Smith finished the night with a double-double, the first of his collegiate career. Smith recorded 12 points and 12 assists in the win over the Demons.

• With three blocks tonight vs. the Demons, Michale Kyser has had at least three blocks in nine of the 10 games the Bulldogs have played this season.

• After totaling four steals in the victory over Northwestern State, Kenneth Smith is now just one shy of cracking the Top 10 in career steals in Bulldog history. Smith has a career total of 124 steals as a Bulldog.

• Appleby's 28 points vs. the Demons is a season-high for the junior guard thus far this season.

• The Bulldogs are now 8-0 when leading opponents at halftime. Tonight, LA Tech led Northwestern State, 45-34.

• The 22-point margin of victory in tonight's game is the most in the series between both Louisiana Tech and Northwestern State since the 1998-99 season when the Bulldogs defeated the Demons 63-41 in Natchitoches.
