RUSTON - Louisiana Tech defeated Longwood, 126-52 Saturday afternoon in the Thomas Assembly Center to move to 12-3 on the season.

• With a 126-52 victory over Longwood, LA Tech is 12-3 on the season and riding a four-game winning streak. Longwood is 5-10 after the loss and has lost three straight. Louisiana Tech leads the all-time series over Longwood, 2-0.

• The 126 points the Bulldogs scored vs. Longwood is a new school record for Louisiana Tech. Previously, the school record for most points scored in a single game was 123 at Southern Miss during the 1972 season.

• The Bulldogs are now 12-0 when leading or tied at halftime.

• The 74-point margin of victory over the Lancers is the second largest win in Bulldog Basketball history. An 88-point victory over Red River Arsenal in 1948 is biggest win for the Bulldogs in history.

• However, the 74-point win over Longwood does mark the largest victory for the Bulldogs in the Thomas Assembly Center. The previous record was a 70-point win over Central Baptist just last season.

• Louisiana Tech made 17 three-point field goals vs. Longwood, which is a new school record for three-point field goals made in a single game. The previous record was 15 three-point field goals made.

• Until the 6:52 mark in the 2nd half, the Bulldogs were a perfect 23-23 at the free-throw line, which is a school record for this LA Tech team. LA Tech did not miss from the line in the first half (13-13) and carried that momentum into the majority of the second half.

• The 29 assists the Bulldogs had vs. Longwood ties for third all-time in LA Tech history for overall assists in a game. The record is 31 assists, which was in 1971 vs. Southern Illinois.

• The 42 total field goals made in today's game is fourth all-time in Bulldog Basketball history in games played at the Thomas Assembly Center. The record is 54 made field goals in the 1986 season.

• In the Thomas Assembly Center, the 35 three-point field goals attempted is second most for the Bulldogs in school history.

• The 29 assists the Bulldogs totaled vs. Longwood is tied for 1st in school history in games played in the Thomas Assembly Center.

• Alex Hamilton's 12 assists on the day is a new career-high for the sophomore. His previous high was 11 assists. Hamilton notched a double-double on the day with 14 points and 12 assists. That marks the second double-double of his career.

• The Bulldogs had seven different players in double digits in the win over the Lancers, with Kenyon McNeail leading the way with a total of 21 points.

• The Bulldogs attempted a total of 35 three-point field goals vs. the Lancers, which is second all-time in school history.

• Head coach Michael White is 57-26 overall in just his third year with the Bulldogs. With the win today, 57 wins ties him with Kerry Rupp for the eighth most victories by a Bulldog head coach. Rupp was 57-73 in four years (2007-11) at the helm.

• With 18 points vs. Longwood, Raheem Appleby now has 1,201 career points. He needs just one more point to tie Willie Simmons for 26th place on the all-time scoring list.

• After totaling six assists on the day, Kenneth Smith became only the fifth Bulldog ever to record 400 assists in a career. He now has a total of 401 assists, which is fifth all-time in school history.
