RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech (19-5, 7-2) pulled off a come-from-behind victory to defeat Tulsa (10-12, 5-3), 66-61, in front of 4,935 Bulldog fans Thursday night at the Thomas Assembly Center.
• Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series over Tulsa, 7-4, with the Bulldogs winning the last three contests vs. the Golden Hurricane.
• Starters: Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Kenneth Smith, Chris Anderson, Jaron Johnson. LA Tech is 2-1 on the season with this group of players on the court.
• After tonight's win, the Bulldogs recorded their 295th games inside the Thomas Assembly Center in program history.
• Tonight's victory over Tulsa is the 1,250th program victory for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
• With the victory, LA Tech is 10-1 in home game this season. The Bulldogs have now won 28 of their last 29 home games.
• Tonight is the first game this season the Bulldogs have won when trailing at halftime. Tulsa led 30-25 at halftime of tonight's game. • Jaron Johnson tied a career-high tonight with 18 points, as he led all scorers in the win. Johnson previously totaled 18 points earlier this season against FIU.
• Michale Kyser totaled four blocks on the night, to tie him for fourth all-time for blocks in a season with 76 total blocks. Kyser is now tied with Paul Millsap (2005-06) with 76 blocks in 2014.
• With two steals tonight vs. Tulsa, Kenneth Smith is now in sole possession of fourth place all-time for steals in a season with a total of 58.
• Kenneth Smith had seven assists in tonight's win over Tulsa to bring his season total to 173 assists, which ties him for fifth all-time in program history. He is now tied with Wayne Smith (1984-85).
