• With the 78-75 loss to Florida State, Louisiana Tech ended the 2013-14 season with a 29-8 record.

• LA Tech is now 10-8 all-time in NIT games.

• LA Tech forced 15 turnovers by FSU marking the 24th time this season the Bulldogs have forced at least 15. This was also the first loss this season by the Bulldogs when forcing at least 15.

• LA Tech trailed 37-33 at halftime. Last season in the NIT game versus Florida State, the Bulldogs also trailed by four at the break.

• Cordarius Johnson scored 11 points, becoming the 37th Bulldog at LA Tech to eclipse 1,000 career points. It also marked the third Bulldog to reach 1,000 career points this season (Raheem Appleby, Kenyon McNeail).

• Kenneth Smith pulled down 14 rebounds, nine coming in the first half, setting a new career-high for the junior.

• Kenneth Smith registered his fifth double-double of the season with a team-high 16 points and 14 rebounds.
