Oct. 4, 2015 RUSTON ââ'¬" Freshman Morgan Turkoly recorded three hits and scored four runs while sophomore Karlee Jensen drove in four runs to lead Louisiana Tech to a 27-3 win over Bossier Parish Community College in fall exhibition action Friday night. Tech scored in every inning of the contest, including plating seven runs in the second and nine more in the fourth, as the Lady Techsters pounded out 18 hits and capitalized on 13 walks and five BPCC errors. Berkley Calapp (2-2, 2 RBI, 1 run), Tori Charters (2-3, 3 runs, 1 RBI), and Kassie Harris (2-3, 2 runs, 2 RBI) also recorded multi-hit games. All 19 players that suited up for LA Tech contributed in the win, including Kristen Miles (1-3, 1 run, 1 RBI), Pauline Tufi (1-3, 1 run, 2 RBI), Preslee Gallaway (1-2, 3 runs, 1 RBI), Taria Page (1-2, 1 run, 1 RBI), Krysta Tutsch (1-2, 1 HR, 1 run, 2 RBI), Taylor Brintzenhoff ( 2 runs, 1 RBI), Lindsey Neyland (1 run, 1 RBI), Chelsea Rangel (1 run), Katelynn Cook (2 runs), Natalie Moran (1-3, 1 run), Katie Smith (1 run), Courtney Lowe (1-3, 1 run), and Carolina Sanchez (1-3, 1 RBI). In the circle, Tech utilized all four pitchers. Bailey Allen got the start and allowed two hits while striking out two in 3.0 innings of action. Sanchez tossed 2.0 innings, allowing three hits, one walk and one run (unearned) while striking out two. Gallaway pitched 2.0 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and one walk while striking out two. Tufi worked the final 2.0 innings, without allowing a hit or walk. Tech returns to action Friday night when it hosts UL-Monroe at 6 p.m. at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.
