RUSTON – Louisiana Tech softball will make the 30-minute trip down I-20 on Wednesday afternoon to face ULM for the second time this season after defeating the Warhawks 3-2 in 11 innings at home in February. First pitch from the ULM Softball Complex is set for 6:00 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

This will be the 117th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and Warhawks. The two teams last met in mid-February in Ruston, where LA Tech earned a 3-2 walk-off win in the bottom of the 11th inning as
Bradi Gallaway hit a solo home run. The teams split the 2025 season series 1-1, while Tech won both matchups in 2024. Head coach
Josh Taylor is 6-3 against ULM since 2022.
ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech improved to 21-18 (7-8 Conference USA) after taking two of three games from Middle Tennessee on the road in Murfreesboro. It marked the Bulldogs' third CUSA series win, as they opened with a 6-4 victory Thursday and followed with a 13-3 win Friday before dropping the finale 11-9 on Saturday.
The Bulldogs outhit the Blue Raiders 37-27 and outscored them 28-18 in the series. Tech recorded 12 extra-base hits, including seven home runs, four doubles and one triple. The Bulldogs registered 15 hits in Friday's win, marking the most in a game under head coach
Josh Taylor and the most by a Bulldog team in a single-game total since March 6, 2020.
Allie Furr led the Bulldogs with seven hits in the series while
Gracie Flores and Gallaway logged six apiece. Gallaway led the team with eight RBI while
Reagan Marchant drove in five runs on five hits. Gallaway and Marchant both homered twice, while
Aleah Brooks,
Rosalie Dufresne and
Reese Torres all homered once.
Gallaway was named CUSA Freshman of the Week after batting .412 (7-for-17) with a team-high eight RBI and three runs scored across four games. Gallaway had three extra-base hits, including two home runs and did not strikeout.
The Whitesboro, Texas, native had two multi-hit games in the series against MTSU, finishing with three hits and three RBI on Friday and with two hits and four RBI on Saturday, including a grand slam. Gallaway had at least one hit in all four games and had one or more RBI in three of four games.
Elena Heng continues to pace the team in hits with 47. Furr (45) and Gallaway (39) rank second and third. Gallaway leads the team with 36 RBI and 26 runs scored, while her nine home runs trail Marchant's 11. Marchant ranks second on the team with 34 RBI, followed by Torres with 24.
Flores is batting .347 and has tallied nine hits across her last five games. The redshirt sophomore was 3-of-4 on Thursday against MTSU and finished with two hits in the win on Friday.
Bryannah Campos earned her fifth win of the season on Thursday after pitching the final 2.0 innings and only allowing one hit. She came in for
Laney Johnson who tossed 5.0 innings while allowing four runs on six hits. Campos and Johnson both have five wins in the circle. Johnson has tossed 65.2 innings to Campos' 48.1.
Allie Floyd went the distance for the ninth time this season on Saturday to pick up her ninth win of the year. The Senior leads the team in wins, ERA (2.82), innings pitched (111.2), shutouts (2), complete games (9) and strikeouts (86).
ABOUT ULM
The Warhawks enter Wednesday night's contest with a 25-18 (8-4 Sun Belt) record. ULM has won six of its last seven, including an SBC series win over Georgia Southern this past weekend, and a sweep over ULL two weekends ago. The Warhawks are 13-3 at home.
ULM is batting .281 as a team and has outscored its opponents 172-152. The Warhawks have three players with 40 or more hits as Hollie Thomas leads the team with 44. Thomas shares the team lead in home runs with Morgan Brown (5), who also leads the team in RBI (27).
The Warhawks pitching staff carries a 3.18 ERA and are led by Ashanti McDade (11-8) with a 2.45 ERA. McDade leads the team in wins and innings pitched (103.0). Skylar Waggoner (6-4) leads the team with 63 strikeouts.
