POST-GAME NOTES

- With the 91-79 win, LA Tech improved to 8-1 on the season. It is the best start to the regular season for the Bulldogs since the 1989-90 season.

- With the win, LA Tech now leads the all-time series over Louisiana-Lafayette, 88-73. The victory ended a two-game losing skid to the Ragin' Cajuns.

- In the last 10 games in Ruston, LA Tech is 9-1 versus ULL.

- LA Tech has now won 36 straight games at home, the second longest active streak in the country.

- Since February of 2012, the Bulldogs are 55-1 at home which is the highest winning percentage in the nation during that span.

- For the second time this season, the Bulldogs overcame a double-digit second half deficit to win by double-figures. They trailed UT Arlington by 12 and ended up winning by 12.

- LA Tech has scored at least 90 points in three games this season.

- The Bulldogs scored 58 points in the second half, the second most points they have scored in one period this season (scored 60 in first half against Millsaps College).

- LA Tech shot 8-of-20 for 40 percent from beyond the arc, tying for the best shooting percentage from three this season (also shot 40 percent at Ohio State).

- The Bulldogs went 3-of-9 in the first half on free throws. After missing their first free throw attempt in the second half, LA Tech went on to make their next 18 straight free throws.

- LA Tech has trailed in four-of-six home games this season. The Bulldogs have won all four. They trailed 37-33 at intermission.

- It took the Bulldogs over five minutes to record their first field goal. Alex Hamilton broke the dry spell with a corner three ball with 14:53 remaining in the first half.

- In the first 22 minutes of game action, UL-Lafayette shot 5-of-6 from the field when leading by two points or less.

- The Bulldog defense held the Ragin' Cajuns to 79 points. ULL came in averaging 91.8 points per game, the second best scoring offense in the country.

- LA Tech starters -- Alex Hamilton, Dayon Griffin, Jacobi Boykins, Erik McCree and Branden Sheppard. This is the eighth different starting lineup in nine games this season.

- Alex Hamilton made his 84th consecutive start.

- The Bulldogs had three players score at least 20 points (Alex Hamilton, Erik McCree and Dayon Griffin).

- Alex Hamilton and Erik McCree have scored in double figures in 8-of-9 games this season.

- Alex Hamilton scored a season-high 30 points. It marked the fourth time in his career he has registered at least 30 points in a single game. He also pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds and had eight assists.

- Alex Hamilton went 14-of-16 from the foul line. It marked the 17th time in his career he has attempted at least 10 free throws in a single game.

- With the 14 made free throws, Hamilton now has 453 for his career which is the fourth most in program history.

- Dayon Griffin recorded a new career high with 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting. He was also 4-of-4 from beyond the arc, becoming the first Bulldog to hit four three-pointers in a game this season.

- Erik McCree tied his season high with 25 points, 17 of those coming in the second half. It marked the third time this season the redshirt junior has recorded 20+ points in a single game.
