Opening statement:

"We knew this was going to be a really physical, hard-playing team that we were going to play tonight. We also knew it was probably going to be one of those games where it would not be an up-and-down game like we typically play. Florida Gulf Coast is so well coached. It was not pretty. We did not shoot the ball well, certainly not from three or the foul line, but I am proud of our guys for battling through a lot of different adversity and finding a way, especially doing it on the road."

On the final sequence:

"In the last two minutes, I thought we played our best defense. I thought our best possession of defense was when Reid hit the shot. If he could have missed that shot, it would have been a training tape possession that we would show our players for the next 10 years. Reid made a great shot. We had a feeling it was going to go to Terrell and he was going to look to make plays. Jacobi Boykins did a good job of sticking with him and guys supporting that to make him make a tough shot and coming away with it."

On Boykins play on the missed free throw:

"He is our best three-point shooter and it was not falling for him tonight. He has not strung together good shooting nights the last few games, but I felt as a sophomore he really turned a corner and made some big plays that impacted the game. He turned it up a different notch. I thought it was huge moments from him and our team."

On Alex Hamilton:

"Alex is a big time player. He has started a lot of games in a row. He has a chance to be the school's all-time wins leader. In this young season and our first year together, he has made big plays many times. He is not afraid of big moments. He has done it different ways either with a pass or a stop or a big shot. He is a very smart player."
