POST-GAME NOTES

  • LA Tech moved to 7-1 this season with the victory over LSU-Shreveport. It marks the third time in the last four seasons the Bulldogs started with a 7-1 record.
  • Tonight's game marks the first ever meeting between LA Tech and LSU-Shreveport.
  • LA Tech has won 35 straight games at home. A win over LSU-Shreveport gives the Bulldogs the second longest active streak in the country behind only Arizona.
  • LA Tech is 54-1 at home since February of 2012, the highest winning percentage in the nation during that span.
  • Since 2011-12, the Bulldogs are 77-14 when forcing 15 or more turnovers in a game. In that span, the Bulldogs have forced at least 20 turnovers 35 times, including three times this season. LA Tech forced 23 turnovers by LSU-Shreveport.
  • Over the last four seasons, LA Tech is 83-10 when leading halftime (Led LSUS, 41-28, at halftime). The Bulldogs are now 91-7 in the last four seasons when leading their opponent with 10 minutes left in the game. LA Tech is also 99-1 over that span when holding a lead with five minutes remaining in the game.
  • With 18 points, Alex Hamilton moved into sole possession of 17th place on LA Tech's all-time career-scoring list, passing Lonnie Cooper (1995-99). He currently has 1,456 points.
  • LA Tech is a perfect 42-0 in the last four-plus seasons when holding their opponents under 60 points. It marks the third time this season the Bulldog defense has not allowed more than 60 points.
  • The Bulldogs have had a plus-10 turnover margin in 29 games over the past four years, resulting in a 27-2 record.
  • Dayon Griffin set a new career-high with 14 points against LSU-Shreveport, while also totaling a career-best six rebounds and three assists (ties career-high).
  • Derric Jean recorded a season-high eight rebounds and five assists in LA Tech's win over LSU-Shreveport to go along with four points.
