- LA Tech moved to 7-1 this season with the victory over LSU-Shreveport. It marks the third time in the last four seasons the Bulldogs started with a 7-1 record.
- Tonight's game marks the first ever meeting between LA Tech and LSU-Shreveport.
- LA Tech has won 35 straight games at home. A win over LSU-Shreveport gives the Bulldogs the second longest active streak in the country behind only Arizona.
- LA Tech is 54-1 at home since February of 2012, the highest winning percentage in the nation during that span.
