Feb. 23, 2015

RUSTON - Bank of Ruston's Inside Tech Basketball radio show is set for another Monday night edition at 6 p.m. at Scott's Catfish on Hwy 33 in Ruston.

Louisiana Tech basketball head coaches Michael White and Tyler Summitt will recap last week's Conference USA games while also previewing the upcoming opponents as both teams have just three games remaining in the regular season before the conference tournament in Birmingham, Alabama.

For the Bulldogs, they finish with a three-game home stand starting on Thursday night in a big matchup for first place in C-USA against UTEP. That contest will be nationally televised on FS1 and is being promoted as a "Red Out" game. The 'Dogs are just half a game up on the Miners for tops in the league and look to remain there as try to defend their 26-game home winning streak. They will then host UTSA on Saturday.

On the other hand, The Lady Techsters finish with a three-game road stretch which begins on Thursday night at UTEP. The team is currently in fourth place in the C-USA standings and looks to hold on to a top-4 spot in order to receive a first round bye in the tournament. Following the matchup against the Miners will be a trip to San Antonio to face the Roadrunners.

The one-hour radio show will air live on the LA Tech Sports Network on ESPN 97.7 FM. The show will feature a half hour segment with Summitt and the Voice of the Lady Techsters Malcolm Butler and a half hour segment with White and the Voice of the Bulldogs Dave Nitz.
