POST-GAME NOTES
- With the 76-66 victory, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series over UTSA, 8-2. The Bulldogs have won three straight and five of the last six in the series.
- LA Tech is now a perfect 4-0 at home against UTSA.
- LA Tech improved to 23-7 on the season and 14-3 in C-USA play with one more game left in the regular season.
- With the win, the Bulldogs guaranteed themselves at least a share of the Conference USA regular season title for the second straight year.
- The victory gives the Bulldogs three straight conference regular season titles for only the second time in program history. LA Tech was Louisiana Intercollegiate champions from 1946-48.
- With the victory, the three seniors - Kenneth Smith, Raheem Appleby and Michale Kyser - now have 97 total wins which ties for the most by any Bulldog in program history. Robert Godbolt and Roderick Hannibal (1983-87) both have 97 wins.
- The Bulldogs now have 15 wins at home this season, a new program record. The previous record was 14 done five different times including the past two years.
- LA Tech extended its home winning streak to 28 games which is the sixth longest active streak in the country and ties for the second longest streak in program history.
- LA Tech has now won 27 straight conference home games. The last loss came on Jan. 28, 2012.
- LA Tech remained undefeated against C-USA opponents at home. They are a perfect 16-0.
- Under coach White, the Bulldogs are now 88-1 when leading with five minutes to go in the game.
- The Dunkin' `Dogs had four slams on the night, bringing their season total to 117.
- LA Tech starting lineup - Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Erik McCree, Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith.
- Speedy made his team leading 112th career start.
- Alex Hamilton made his 69th consecutive start as a Buildog.
- All five starters scored in double figures - McCree (16), Hamilton (15), Appleby (12), Smith (12) and Kyser (10).
- Raheem Appleby has scored in double figures in every game but three this season.
- Michale Kyser pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. He has led the team in rebounding in 15 games this season.
- Michale Kyser tied a career-high with nine blocks. He now has 89 blocks on the season and is four shy of setting the record for most blocks by a senior.
- Speedy recorded a game-high seven assists, giving him 220 for the season which moved him into second for most assists in a single season.
- Erik McCree set a new career high with four steals. He previously had notched three steals three different times this season.
