• With the 72-62 overtime loss, Louisiana Tech now trails in the all-time series versus UAB, 6-2.

• LA Tech falls to 25-8 on the season and had its four-game winning streak come to an end.

• LA Tech is now 1-1 in overtime games this season. They previously had won in OT at Charlotte.

• This was the first ever meeting between LA Tech and UAB in a conference tournament game.

• The Bulldogs forced 15 turnovers. It marked the 20th time this season they have forced at least 15 in a single game.

• LA Tech starting lineup - Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Erik McCree, Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith.

• Speedy made his team leading 115th career start.

• Hamilton made his 72nd consecutive start as a Bulldog.

• Speedy led the Bulldogs in scoring with 13 points. It was just the second time this season he led the team in scoring.

• Alex Hamilton scored 10 points to move into 24th on the all-time career scoring list. He passed Joe Abendroth (1960-64).

• Qiydar Davis came off the bench to play 19 minutes and record eight points and three rebounds.

• Speedy registered four steals, giving him a total of nine for the two tournament games.
