POST-GAME NOTES
• With the 72-61 victory, Louisiana Tech now trails in the all-time series versus Southern Miss, 43-32. The Bulldogs swept the series this season.
• LA Tech clinched the outright Conference USA regular season title. It is the first since 1999 when they were members of the Sun Belt Conference.
• LA Tech finishes out the regular season with a 24-7 overall record and a 15-3 mark in C-USA.
• LA Tech clinched the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament for the third straight year.
• LA Tech has now won 29 straight games in the TAC, the fourth longest streak in the country and the second longest in program history.
• LA Tech has now won 28 straight conference home games. The last loss came on Jan. 28, 2012.
• LA Tech finished the regular season with a perfect 16-0 record at home. It marked the seventh time the Bulldogs have gone undefeated at home in the Thomas Assembly Center and twice in the past three years.
• LA Tech has still yet to lose to a C-USA opponent in the TAC. They are a perfect 17-0.
• The Bulldogs forced 21 turnovers in the game. It marked the eighth time this season they have forced at least 20 in a single game.
• The Bulldogs had a +12 turnover margin, marking the ninth time this season they have had at least a +10 in a single game. It is also the 25th time they have done so under coach White.
• The victory made Michale Kyser, Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith the winningest Bulldogs in program history with 98 victories.
• The Bulldogs tied their season high with nine dunks. It brought their season total to 126 slams.
• LA Tech starting lineup - Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Erik McCree, Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith.
• Speedy made his team-leading 113th career start.
• Alex Hamilton made his 70th consecutive start for the Bulldogs.
• Raheem Appleby passed Paul Millsap and Karl Malone on the all-time career scoring list by recording a team-high 23 points. He is now sixth on the list with 1,719 points.
• Appleby has scored in double figures in every game but three this season. He notched his seventh 20+ scoring game of the year.
• Michale Kyser set season-highs in points (19) and rebounds (14) in recording his fourth double-double of the season.
• Michale Kyser blocked three shots, tying him for the senior record for most rejections.
• Speedy dished out 10 assists in the game. It marked the ninth time this season he has had at least 10 in a single game.
• Alex Hamilton had one steal moving him into a tie for fifth for the most steals in a single season. He now has 57.
