POST-GAME NOTES
- With the 73-62 overtime win, Louisiana Tech improved to 21-7 on the season.
- The Bulldogs are now 10-5 in Conference USA play, tied with Middle Tennessee for third in the league standings.
- LA Tech snapped a two-game losing skid to North Texas and now leads the all-time series, 20-9.
- With win No. 21, Eric Konkol has the most victories in program history for a first-year head coach.
- LA Tech improved to 64-2 at home since February of 2012. That is the best home winning percentage in the country during that span.
- LA Tech improved to 15-1 at home this season. The 15 home victories are the second most ever in a single season (won 17 last season).
- This marked the ninth time this season the Bulldogs have won after trailing at halftime. LA Tech was down 24-23 at intermission.
- LA Tech is now 3-0 in overtime games this season. It is the most in a single season since 2000-01 when the Bulldogs went 4-0 in games that went into OT.
- The 11-point win was the second largest margin of victory in an OT game in program history. Largest was a 75-62 win over Western Michigan on Dec. 12, 1980.
- The Bulldogs are 8-1 in conference overtime games at the TAC since 2000.
- Since the 2011-12 season, the Bulldogs are 29-9 in games decided by five points or less or in overtime.
- LA Tech is now 8-2 all-time when playing a C-USA opponent for the second time during the regular season.
- LA Tech starters -- Alex Hamilton, Dayon Griffin, Jacobi Boykins, Jy'lan Washington and Merrill Holden.
- Alex Hamilton made his 103rd consecutive start.
- Alex Hamilton scored a team-high 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting. The senior now has 1,855 points, just 13 shy of moving into fourth on the all-time career scoring list.
- Dayon Griffin registered 16 points. It marked the 15th time this season the sophomore as scored in double figures which is the third most on the team.
- Jacobi Boykins recorded 14 points, hitting double digits for the fourth time in the last five games.
- Merrill Holden his first career double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds while playing a career-high 38 minutes. The 11 boards was a career high for the junior.
- Alex Hamilton dished out a game-high eight assists, moving into fifth on the all-time career assists lists passing Brett Guillory (1986-90). He now has 467.
- Jacobi Boykins tied his career high in rebounds (six) and assists (three).
