BASTROP, Texas - Both Victor Lange and Ben Robinson finished Monday's two-round action at Wolfdancer Golf Club under-par as the pair of seniors led the Bulldogs to a tie for ninth place with one final round to be played Tuesday at the Jim West Intercollegiate.

Lange, a senior from South Africa, enters Tuesday's final round tied for ninth at 2-under-par while Robinson, a senior from England, is tied for 15th at 1-under-par in the three-round, 54-hole tournament. The Wolfdancer Golf Club is a par-72, 7,205-yard course in Bastrop, Texas.

That left Louisiana Tech in a tie for ninth place alongside Lamar at 10-over-par following Monday's action. The Bulldogs are within seven strokes of a top-five finish entering the final round. St. Mary's, the 2015 Jim West Intercollegiate team champion, sits atop the team leaderboard at 14-under-par while McNeese State is second at 7-under-par. North Texas and Rice, two teams the Bulldogs will face in their next outing, are tied for third at 2-under-par.

Rice's Mitchell Meissner is at the top of the individual leaderboard at 8-under-par while host Texas State's Chase Ambrose is second at 7-under-par. Lange's 2-under-par score is two strokes from a top-five finish. The South African recorded matching rounds of 71 Monday while Robinson shot 72-71.

Jacob Wyatt was next for Louisiana Tech as he finished the day at 7-over-par, carding 77-74 (151) on the day while Charles Neel White followed at 8-over-par, firing 57-77 (152). Senior Chuck Spears rounded out the scoring five at ).11-over-par (80-75) while senior Jake Pritchard, competing as an individual, finished the day at 13-over-par (82-75).

Louisiana Tech tees off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and the Bulldogs will be paired with Abilene Christian, Lamar and ULM.

Lange, Robinson, Spears and Pritchard are all in their final regular season tournament as Bulldogs. Following the Jim West Intercollegiate, Louisiana Tech will head to the Conference USA Championship on April 27-29 in Texarkana, Arkansas.
