RUSTON - Louisiana Tech Lady Techster basketball fans are invited to come out to the 2017 Welcome Back Dinner on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Argent Pavilion.

The event is free but fans are asked to bring a dessert or covered dish (fruits, vegetables, bread) as the Tip Off Club will supply fried chicken and fried fish. Anyone interested in attending the annual event is asked to RSVP to Barbara Swart at 318-255-7950 or by emailing Barbara@latechalumni.org.

Head coach Brooke Stoehr and the entire Lady Techster coaching staff and team will be in attendance as fans will have an opportunity to meet the team and talk about the upcoming season. Tech opens play Nov. 10 vs. Grambling State, the first of 16 home games this year for the Lady Techsters.

Tech returns six letterwinners and welcomes eight newcomers to the program this year. The Lady Techsters earned the program's first national postseason berth since 2011 last year when they finished fourth in Conference USA.

Fans can also join the Lady Techster Tipoff Club that evening while season tickets will be on sale at the event. Individuals can also purchase season tickets by calling 318-257-3631 or emailing TechTickets@latech.edu.

A silent auction and raffle will also be held at the event.
