RUSTON, La. - With the Bulldogs' fall portion of camp in the review mirror, a pair of opportunities remain for youngsters to learn from some of the best in the game before the 2018 Louisiana Tech Baseball season gets going in February.

First, on Saturday, January 13, 2018, the Bulldogs will host a Father & Son/Daughter Camp at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.

The cost is $100 per camper and is limited to boys and girls ages 5-12 along with their father or guardian (not charged).

The afternoon of baseball instruction and fun activities begins at 1 p.m. and wraps up at 5 p.m.

Then, on Sunday, January 14, Tech will hold its annual Lane Burroughs Baseball Showcase for high school freshman all the way up through junior college sophomores. The showcase is limited to 120 players and the cost is $150 per participant.

For pitchers, catchers and dual players, check-in will take place Sunday morning at 10:20 a.m. followed by the start of the camp at 11 a.m. Check-in for position players only opens at 12:20 p.m. with a 1:00 p.m. start for camp activities.
