March 21, 2018 RUSTON - The dates for the 2018 Eric Konkol Basketball Camps have been set for the summer with camps available from June through August and for campers entering grades kindergarten all the way through high school.
There will be three individual camps - Youth Day Camp, Junior Bulldog Camp and High School Elite Camp - with two sessions each.
The Youth Day Camp will be Monday through Thursday on June 11-14 and July 30-Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The first session in June will be for boys entering second through 10th grade. The second session will be for boys entering kindergarten through seventh grade.
The cost is $200 and will provide campers the opportunity to improve their skills through drills, competition, league play and guest lectures.
The Junior Bulldog Camp will be held Monday through Wednesday on June 18-20 and July 9-11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily for boys entering kindergarten through sixth grade. This three-day mini-camp is designed for the younger Bulldog fans to learn and develop their fundamentals.
The cost is $125 with each session allowing campers to participate in drills, competitions and games to improve their skill level.
The High School Elite Camp will take place on June 10 and Aug. 4 from 12-6 p.m. at a cost of $40 per session for boys entering ninth through 12th grade. These one-day camps offer high school players the chance to compete against other high-level players from the region. Individual work, drill work and 5-on-5 competition will be an integral part of the experience.
The Bulldog Basketball staff will also be conducting a High School Team Camp on June 8-9. Divisions will be made for programs to have a chance to compete in structured games against other teams from the region. The cost is $350 per team for both days and $225 per team for one day.
The camps are open to any and all participants but space is limited and is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
