RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech's track and field team continues the outdoor season this weekend as the Bulldogs and Lady Techsters travel to compete in the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays beginning Thursday, March 28 in Austin, Texas.
 
The 2019 Texas Relays are hosted by the Texas Longhorns and features more than 200 collegiate track and field programs. Throughout the weekend, more than 7,000 athletes will be competing at the Texas Relays that takes place at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin.
 
Field events are slated to begin at 11 a.m. Thursday with the women's hammer throw, while running events will start at 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. The meet continues at 9 a.m. on Friday and continues throughout the day.
 
This weekend's Texas Relays will see Louisiana Tech competing in a total of 12 events over the course of Thursday and Friday with 21 student-athletes making the trip. Both the men and women are entered in six events each.
