6-foot-1-inch guard will add size to Techster perimeter

RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech head coach Brooke Stoehr announced the addition of forward Lotte Sant who signed a national letter of intent to play with the Lady Techsters.

"We are thrilled to welcome Lotte to our Lady Techster family," said Stoehr. "She will add size and length to the perimeter and her versatility will be an added dimension for our team. Lotte's maturity and experience will serve her well as she transitions to Louisiana Tech."

Sant is a 6-foot-1-inch guard out of Calandlyceum High School in Amsterdam.

"She has gained valuable experience through her time with the Netherlands national team program and with her club, CTO Amsterdam, playing for Molly McDowell," said Stoehr. "We look forward to having Lotte in a Lady Techster uniform."

She made her debut in the highest league of the Netherlands at age 15 with the Binnenland and Lokomotief U18 teams. She was part of the team that won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 2016.

Sant averaged 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the 2018 FIBA U18 Women's European Championships playing for the Dutch National Team. She averaged 10.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the 2017 FIBA U16 Women's European Championships playing for the Dutch National Team that finished third and she was promoted from the B Division to the A Division.
