THIBODAUX, La. -- Due to the inclement weather in the Thibodaux area, the Wednesday in-state matchup between Louisiana Tech and Nicholls State has been cancelled.

The two soccer programs were set to face off on the pitch for the first time since 2016, but Mother Nature had other ideas.  There will be no make-up date scheduled this season.

Next up for LA Tech is a short trip down I-20 to Monroe for another in-state battle with ULM on Friday, Aug. 30.  Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
