RUSTON – The show must go on.  The Techspys show that is.
 
Instead of rolling out the blue carpet at the Thomas Assembly Center and having the Louisiana Tech student-athletes dressed to the nines for the live event, the 6th annual Techspys presented by Origin Bank will take place virtually on May 11 at 6:30 p.m. on Facebook. 
 
Hosted by Madison Kaufman, Bulldogs and Lady Techsters will be honored in a variety of categories including Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Male and Female Freshman of the Year, Male and Female Performance of the Year and Male and Female Play of the Year.
 
Once again, the awards for Male and Female Play of the Year will be left up to the LA Tech fans who will have an opportunity to go online and cast their ballot.  Starting on Monday, fans can access a link to voting through Twitter (@LATechSports) and Facebook (Louisiana Tech Athletics). 
 
Additional categories include the Tenets of Tech, the SAAC Award (Community Service), the Team GPA Award, Presidential Award and Team of the Year.  Fans can also keep up with the award winners through live tweets during the show on Twitter (@LATechSports). 
 
The show will also include messages from Tech President Les Guice, Director of Athletics Tommy McClelland and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President Conner Killian, as well as a couple of fun videos.
