RUSTON – Louisiana Tech head coach Kevin Sherry announced on Thursday the 2020 women's soccer schedule which will consist of 12 matches. 
 
LA Tech will have an even split of six non-conference and six conference games with the season slated to start at home on Sept. 1 against Northwestern State.  All home matches will be played at the Ruston Sports Complex.  
 
The Lady Techsters will play the next five matches on the road against Nicholls State, Southeastern Louisiana, Little Rock, Our Lady of the Lake and the Conference USA opener at UTEP which comes on Sept. 20.
 
LA Tech will host UTSA on Sept. 25, followed by a road match against North Texas on Oct. 2 and back home versus Rice on Oct. 9.
 
The team will then take a break from league action and face I-20 foe ULM in Ruston on Oct. 15, marking the sixth straight year the two squads will battle on the pitch. 
 
The schedule rounds out at Southern Miss on Oct. 24 and at home against UAB on Oct. 30 in the regular season finale. 
 
The 2020 C-USA Women's Soccer Tournament will be hosted by Rice in Houston, Texas on Nov. 4-8. 
 
The Lady Techsters have made six straight C-USA Tournament appearances, one of only three teams in the league to do so.  They return 13 letter winners, including six starters, off last year's roster that won 13 games.
