QUOTABLE
Head Coach Amber McCray
"It's always great to get a road win, and we needed one badly to split up this conference stretch.
Jordyn Carswell is playing with a ton of confidence right now which has been great to see heading into her final matches of her career.
Morgan Smith was effective both offensively and defensively tonight as well, hitting a .308 and leading us with four blocks. We stayed aggressive behind the service line and that provided us a number of opportunities we just need to continue to make sure we actually capitalize on. We are excited to head into this bye weekend with a chance to really go get after it in practice working on a number of aspects of our game that can put us in the best position to compete in our final weeks of season."
UP NEXT
The Lady Techsters return to the court next Tuesday, Oct. 26 when they travel to matchup with cross town rival Grambling State. First Serve is set for 6 p.m. inside the Grambling's Fredrick C. Hobby Assembly Center.
