RUSTON, La. – After spending the last three a half weeks on the road, Louisiana Tech returns home Tuesday to host Northwestern State at 4 p.m. at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field.
Single game tickets will be sold for the contest and gates open at 3 p.m. Fans can also watch a live video stream of the game through a paid subscription to CUSA.tv.
Tech (9-13) is coming off its second straight non-conference series win over an American Athletic Conference opponent after taking two out of three against Tulsa this past weekend. Tech won 3-2 and 10-2 in Saturday's doubleheader.
Senior outfielder Madie Green had a phenomenal weekend at the plate, recording five hits, including two home runs and one triple along with four RBI. Green earned the Conference USA Hitter of the Week Award for her efforts.
Bre Hernandez (4-4, 4.02 ERA) and Audrey Pickett (2-5, 3.77 ERA) each registered complete-game victories for LA Tech against the Golden Hurricane.
Northwestern State enters Tuesday's game on a nine-game winning streak after the Demons (15-7, 9-0 Southland) swept their third straight league series this past weekend, defeating Houston Baptist.
Tech will open Conference USA action Friday and Saturday when the Lady Techsters travel to San Antonio for a four-game set against UTSA.
