RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech Athletics announced that season ticket sales for basketball begin today in anticipation of the Bulldogs and Lady Techsters "Return to the TAC."
Louisiana Tech officials anticipate game-days for the 2021-22 basketball season will see the Thomas Assembly Center return to a more traditional state as the University plans to operate the venues as close to normal as possible while following state health guidelines.
Renewal deadline to guarantee seat locations for existing season ticket holders is November 1. In order to renew season tickets, fans should call 318-257-3631 (M-F: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or go to LATechSports.com/tickets.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 24-8 season that saw them capture the Conference USA West Division title and advance to the Final Four of the NIT where they defeated Colorado State in the consolation game. Tech returns C-USA Freshman of the Year Kenneth Lofton Jr. as well as sophomore sensations
Cobe Williams and
Isaiah Crawford.
The Lady Techsters recorded a 14-10 record and boasted one of the top defenses in Conference USA; the best scoring defense by a Tech team in the last 15 years. The Lady Techsters return all-everything guard
Keiunna Walker and local product
Anna Larr Roberson and boasted one of the top scoring defenses in C-USA.
Season ticket prices will remain the same for the upcoming year as fans are encouraged to take advantage of the combo season ticket packages that include both men's and women's games.
As COVID-19 numbers continue to trend downwards and more of the population receives the vaccination, Tech plans to move back to normal seating locations as fans will be able to request exact seat locations over the summer months.
Tech hopes to see the return of courtside seating options, but the athletic department is awaiting approval from the Conference USA office. Thus, courtside seats are not available for purchase until the fall.
Fans are reminder that the LTAC renewal deadline is June 30 for fans wishing to receive parking passes for the upcoming year.
