RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech Athletics has announced a new premium space at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park named the "Coaches Corner."
 
The new space will feature a cash bar, complimentary soda and water, and typical ballpark snacks (i.e, hot dogs or popcorn). The space is located on the top level of the Origin Bank Baseball Complex down the third base line.
 
The Coaches Corner will be open for eight home dates (11 games) at the Love Shack this season, all of which are on Fridays and Saturdays except for a Thursday night game against Old Dominion. The space will make its debut on Friday when the Diamond Dogs host Conference USA rival Southern Miss.
 
The Coaches Corner will open 30 minutes prior to first pitch at each home game and closes in the seventh inning in nine inning games.  In Double-Header games, the Coaches Corner will remain open between games and close in the 3rd inning of the second game of the double-header.  Coaches Corner members must keep all alcoholic beverages within the space.
 
Passes for this space are $150 per season pass and can be purchased by calling the Athletic Development Office at (318) 255-7950 or by contacting Alan Savage directly at asavage@latechalumni.org. LA Tech fans ages 10 and older will require a pass to access the space.

All proceeds from the Coaches Corner will go toward the facilities reconstruction project.
