RUSTON, La. – With one weekend remaining in the Conference USA regular season, there is still plenty at stake for both teams heading into the four-game series at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field.

Due to the weather forecast for Sunday, this weekend's series has been reduced down to two days as the Lady Techsters and Mean Green will play a doubleheader Friday starting at 4 p.m. and a doubleheader Saturday starting at 3 p.m.

Tech will honor its five seniors following Saturday's doubleheader as Kara Goff, Madie Green, Bre Hernandez, Zoe Hicks and Audrey Pickett will all be recognized.

Tech (22-25, 10-6 C-USA) currently sits in third place in the West Division standings and fourth overall and has already clinched a spot in the upcoming C-USA Championships set for May 12-15 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Lady Techsters can finish anywhere between first and seventh depending on the results from all this weekend's league games.

North Texas (33-10, 14-2 C-USA) is currently in first in the West Division and overall league standings. The Mean Green can clinch the league crown with three wins this weekend or two wins and one UAB loss.

The match-up pits the co-Conference USA champions from 2019 when both programs finished 19-5 in league play. Tech won the C-USA Tournament championship that season and advanced to the NCAA Regionals.
