RUSTON – Louisiana Tech's
Elizabeth Doll added to her postseason honors on Thursday as the defender was named First Team All-Louisiana for women's collegiate soccer, announced by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA).
Â
Doll was one of 11 players voted on by the state's sports information directors to the All-Louisiana Team.
Â
The three-time All-Conference USA selection was once again the anchor on the back line for LA Tech as the primary center back, totaling 1,228 minutes played on the pitch this past season, second most on the team.Â
Â
The Pearl River, Louisiana native made 14 starts for the Lady Techsters, going the distance in 10 matches while playing all but 18 minutes through the entire league schedule. She was part of five shutouts in the process.
Â
Doll recorded 18 shots, including a season-high four at Nicholls State. She netted her lone goal of the season on Senior Day, booming a 45-yard free kick into the back of the net for the game-winner.Â
Â
She finished her four-year career having appeared in 67 matches with 59 starts, amassing 24 points on nine goals and six assists. Her five game-winning goals ranks ninth in program history.Â
Â
This marked the first time Doll has earned First Team All-Louisiana accolades. She previously was named All-Louisiana Honorable Mention as a sophomore back in 2019.Â
