RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana Tech softball team will be back in action at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field for the first time in five months when it hosts Grambling State on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The game is free and open to the general public.
Tech opened the fall slate with a three-game series at Arkansas this past weekend.
"It was great to open the season at Arkansas," head coach
Josh Taylor said. "We are very appreciative of Courtney Deifel and her staff at Arkansas for hosting us. I saw a lot of positives from our girls and we competed hard. Our goal is to build upon those positives throughout the rest of the fall to prepare us for February."
The exhibition with Grambling State is the first of three home fall games for the Lady Techsters, who close out their fall schedule by hosting LSU-Eunice (Sunday, Oct. 23) and ULM (Tuesday, Nov. 1).
There will not be any live stats or video available for fall games.
