DENTON- The Louisiana Tech volleyball team hits the road as they face off with North Texas in Denton on Sunday, Oct. 9 in the North Texas Volleyball Center.

ABOUT LA TECH (9-10, 2-2 C-USA)
LA Tech is coming into Sunday's match against North Texas off of two back-to-back road sweeps against UTSA and Jackson State. Within the last two matches, a redshirt junior, Andre Spasojevic totaled nice service aces. Against Jackson State, Spasojevic collected nine kills, four aces, and eight digs. McKenzie Johnson added 25 more digs against the Lady Tigers to the record books.
Spasojevic leads the team with 179 kills, 212 points, and a .964 reception percentage. McKenzie Johnson leads the Lady Techsters with 4.17 digs per ser and 31 aces.
ABOUT NORTH TEXAS (8-11, 2-2 C-USA)
The Mean Green return home after dropping a pair of five-set losses to conference opponents. Aleeyah Galderia comes into the match 1,163 from her four years at North Texas. Galderia leads C-USA with 325 digs and placing her 14th in the Nation.
With 99.5 of the Mean Green's 152 total points, Treyaunna Rush, Sh'Diamond Holly, and Aryan Johnson are at the top of the charts. Holly is currently ranked 17th in the nation with a 4.16 hitting percentage.
THE SERIES
The Mean Green lead 21-12 over the Lady Techsters. Since joining C-USA, LA Tech hasn't beaten North Texas.
