RUSTON, La. -- With Louisiana Tech's home opener against Northwestern State set for tomorrow night, the Tech Athletics Department wants to remind fans of the policies and procedures within Dr. Billy Bundrick Field.
The Lady Techsters and Demons will face off Wednesday at 6 p.m. while Tech hosts its own three-team tournament Saturday and Sunday including Sam Houston State and Tulsa.
Season tickets and single game tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 318-257-3631 or at the softball box office at the stadium on gamedays.
ADA ACCESSIBLE SEATING
ADA Accessible seating are available on the first row of the grandstands. These areas can be accessed on either side of the press box. A ramp is located on the southwest side of the press box behind the 3
rd base dugout.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Policies pertaining to alcohol are in place so that all guests can enjoy the event in a safe and comfortable environment.
• It is prohibited to bring alcohol into Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. Violators will be subject to ejection and applicable legal action.
• State law requires that all persons consuming alcohol be at least 21 years of age.
• Intoxicated or alcohol impaired guests may be refused admission to Dr. Billy Bundrick Field.
BAGS & BAG SEARCH
Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue:
• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." (Official LA Tech team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available through LA Tech Barns and Noble Store)
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
• Small clutch bags, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, non-approved seat cushions and chairbacks*, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
* Non-approved seat cushions and chairbacks include large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments, or covers. Seat cushions and chairbacks must be 18" or less in width.
BANNER AND SIGNS
Banners and pep signs are allowed provided they are hand-held of reasonable size, can be stored beneath the seat and do not block the view of other patrons. Any banner or sign containing profanity or objectionable material will be confiscated.
BOTTLES
It is permissible for guests to bring into Dr. Billy Bundrick Field a clear empty plastic commercial bottle. Frozen bottles are prohibited. It is impermissible to bring in any other type of beverage into the stadium. Plastic baby bottles are permitted into the stadium if the infant is with the guest but are subject to inspection by security upon entering. (For additional information, see Containers and Coolers).
CONCESSIONS
The concession stand is located on the concourse of Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. Concessions are available when the main gates open one hour prior to first pitch. No other food may be brought into the stadium.
CONDUCT/EJECTIONS
Fans are encouraged to treat visitors, players, coaches and umpires with courtesy and respect. Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome in Dr. Billy Bundrick Field and may result in ejection. Anyone who interferes with the game by coming onto the field or by throwing objects will be ejected and possibly arrested. LA Tech Athletics reserve the right to eject any patron whose behavior is against policy, unruly or illegal in nature. Event tickets will be forfeited without refund. Revocation of season tickets or arrest is possible.
CONTAINERS AND COOLERS
Cans, glass, bottles, ice chests, coolers, picnic baskets and insulated beverage containers are prohibited in Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. (If you are a tent holder please see Tent Holders)
DRONES
Drones, model aircraft or any other remote-controlled flying objects are not permitted or allowed to be operated inside Dr. Billy Bundrick Field or the surrounding parking lots.
ELECTRONIC TICKET SCANNING
All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Tickets must be scanned each time a patron enters or exits the stadium. Tickets which have been logged in upon entry cannot be reused by another guest. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the LA Tech Athletics Ticket Office.
FACE COVERINGS
In accordance with University of Louisiana System, masks or face coverings are not required for outdoor events.
FIRST AID
Please contact a LA Tech Staff member or LA Tech Police.
FOUL BALLS
Leaving the ticketed area inside of Dr. Billy Bundrick Field to chase a foul ball is not permitted.
GATES
Main Gate will open 1 hour prior to first pitch. All person's ages 2 and older must present a ticket to enter Dr. Billy Bundrick Field.Â
LOST AND FOUND
For items lost during a baseball game, please contact an LA Tech Staff member. To claim items after a game, contact the Athletics Internal Operations office at 318.257.2599
MERCHANDISE
Officially licensed LA Tech merchandise is available for purchase at the LA Tech Barns and Noble store location on the main concourse. No other merchandise may be sold on the grounds of the LA Tech Sports Complex. Guests approached by someone selling merchandise are asked to report the person and location to a parking attendant, event staff or police.
PARKING
All parking around Dr. Billy Bundrick Field, excluding the coaching parking lot behind Origin Bank Softball/ Soccer Complex, is open to fans.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Cameras are permitted in Dr. Billy Bundrick Field for personal use only. Any commercial photography (large-lens with a stand or tripod) is prohibited. Video cameras are prohibited. In no instance should anyone taking photographs block aisleways and/or seating areas or otherwise interfere with another fan's enjoyment of the game.

RESTROOMS
Men's and women's restrooms are located on the main concourse.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Live animals or pets, except for service or guide dogs, are not allowed except during promotional activities.
STROLLERS
Strollers are permitted in Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. Strollers may not be stowed in aisleways or walkways.
SMOKING
Louisiana Tech University policy prohibits the smoking of cigarettes, cigars, pipes or burning tobacco in any other form or device, as well as the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, hookah or other water pipe devices and all other related devices on university property, except inside personal vehicles.
SOLICITATION
University policy prohibits solicitation of any unauthorized item for sale, trade or giveaway on the grounds of the Louisiana Tech University. This includes solicitation of charitable donations and game or event tickets. Violators of this policy will be asked to leave the stadium grounds and may be cited for trespassing.
TAILGATING TENTS
Four 10x10 tents are available for rent for each home game with tiered pricing based on day, opponent and number of tents rented. Tents must be reserved 24 hours in advance of the game. Each tent comes with 10 tickets, one 6-foot table and two high-top tables while renters are permitted to bring in a grill and food prep for the day. Prices range from $150 to $250 per tent per game and individuals who rent more than one tent for a game will receive price breaks on the additional tents (tickets). TICKETS
General Information:Â All person's ages 2 and older must present a ticket to enter Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. Tickets may be purchased at the Dr. Billy Bundrick Field ticket office near the main gate. The ticket office opens one and a half hours prior to first pitch.
Will Call/Player-Guest:Â Pre-purchased tickets may be picked up at the Dr. Billy Bundrick Field ticket office beginning hour and a half prior to first pitch. Only the person whose name is on the ticket order may pick up the tickets. A photo ID is required for all will-call orders.
Lost/Misplaced Tickets:Â For lost or misplaced season tickets, the Athletics Ticket Office may re-issue tickets to the ticket-holder of record only. A service fee is charged for each replacement ticket. For season tickets that have been lost in the mail or stolen, contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 318.257.3631 for replacement information.
