ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (8-2, 0-0 C-USA)
LA Tech won its six straight match this past Sunday, getting four singles points to down Murray State by a final score of 4-1.  The Lady Techsters have won seven of their last eight matches and all six of their home matches.

Sunday's victory was different as it was the first time this season LA Tech put one in the win column after dropping the doubles point.  They still remain solid in doubles, combining for a 19-9 record with Ana Rodrigues and Leonie Schuknecht improving to 9-1 in duals this spring, having won eight straight.

The team is 33-22 overall in dual singles with Najah Dawson and Ilana Tetruashvili leading the way with 7-2 records.  Alexia Romero is also on a four-match winning streak and has a record of 6-3.

ABOUT MIDDLE TENNESSEE (8-6, 1-2 C-USA)
Middle Tennessee heads to Ruston having won seven of its last eight matches, including its lone conference win over UTSA.  They are 1-4 in true road matches and are coming off a 4-3 home victory over Ball State.

The lineup is 16-17 in dual doubles with the duo of Love-Star Alexis and Lilly-Sophie Schmidt having a perfect 4-0 record at the No. 3 position.  Noelle Mauro and Lee Barnard are 5-2 at No. 1.

The Blue Raiders have a combined mark of 42-38 in dual singles with four players notching at least seven victories, including Barnard who anchors the top at the top spot with a 7-7 record.

Middle Tennessee leads the all-time series over LA Tech, 7-1.  All eight matches have come at neutral sites.  The Lady Techsters lone win over the Blue Raiders came back in 2014.  This is the first of five C-USA matches LA Tech will play this season.

ABOUT ARKANSAS STATE (2-4)
Arkansas State heads into the weekend coming off a 4-1 loss at Arkansas.  The Red Wolves, who play Alcorn State and Grambling State before facing LA Tech on Sunday, had won their previous two over Kansas City and Missouri State.

The team is 6-7 in dual doubles and 9-16 in dual singles this spring.  Thea Rice anchors the team on both lines, playing the top position in singles (3-1 record) and in doubles (2-2 record) with Nejla Zukic.

LA Tech trails in the all-time series with A-State, 8-19.  The Red Wolves have won the last two meetings by scores of 4-3 in 2020 and 4-2 in 2021.

ABOUT TARLETON STATE (7-2)
Just like LA Tech, Tarleton State is riding a six-match winning streak with consecutive victories over Lipscomb, Belmont, Southwestern, Montana State, UTPD and UTRGV.  They are 2-2 in road matches this season and will be playing on the road for the first time in a month.

The Texans have been dominant in dual singles, combining for a 35-18 overall record.  They are 7-2 on courts three, four and five with three players – Elsa Boisson, Martha Makantasi and Celia Vaudiau – owning seven victories apiece.

In dual doubles, they are a combined 16-9, anchored by their top duo of Jemi Aguilar and Deniza Marcinkevica who have a 6-1 record.

Monday will be the first ever meeting between LA Tech and Tarleton State on the courts.  This match was originally scheduled for Feb. 5, but was postponed.
