RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech and UL-Lafayette are slated to face off in a future home-and-home football series, officials from both Universities announced on Friday.
The two sides are set to meet on Sept. 26, 2026 at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston and again on Sept. 8, 2029 at Cajun Field in Lafayette.
The programs have met a total of 87 times, the most meetings of any LA Tech opponent. The Bulldogs lead the all-time series, 48-33-6, having won eight straight over the Ragin' Cajuns. The last matchup came in 2015 with LA Tech prevailing, 43-14, in Ruston.
Season tickets are still on sale for the 2022 season, which kicks off on Sept. 1 at Missouri followed by the first of five home games on Sept. 10 versus Stephen F. Austin. Fans can visit LATechSports.com/tickets or call the LA Tech Ticket Office at (318) 257-3631 to purchase their tickets.
