RUSTON – The Louisiana Tech Tennis team heads south to Baton Rouge to take part in the 2023 ITA Division I Southern Regional Championships, a five-day event that includes singles and doubles players from 21 programs across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
All five Bulldogs – Olga Bienzobas, Alexia Romero, Valentina Vasquez, Ana Rodrigues, and Tiffani Nash – will compete in singles.  Vasquez will take part in the qualifying section starting on Thursday while the other four are already in the main draw that begins Friday.
 
Vasquez will team up with Rodrigues while Bienzobas and Romero will partner in the doubles main draw.  Bienzobas/Romero are coming off an ITA All-American Championships appearance, the first in program history.
