RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech Baseball head coach Lane Burroughs announced Wednesday the 2024 schedule, a 56-game slate that officially kicks off February 16, 2024, when the Bulldogs take on the Northern Colorado at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.

 

The opening four-game series versus the Bears will be part of a non-conference stretch where the Bulldogs play 16 of their first 21 games at home, including weekend series at the Love Shack versus Kent State, Southern Miss, and Northwestern State as well as midweek contests against Xavier and UL-Lafayette.
 
The schedule is highlighted by LA Tech's 31 home games as well as 20 of their matchups coming against nine teams who played in the NCAA Regionals last season.
 
Following its first road contest of the season at McNeese State on Feb. 28, LA Tech will head to Sugarland, Texas at the Battle at the BallPark where they will take on Army, Creighton, and Air Force on March 1-3.  
 
The Bulldogs will travel down to reigning NCAA Champion LSU on March 19, making it back-to-back years where LA Tech will face the defending champion. In 2022, the 'Dogs knocked off the Tigers twice, including a 11-6 victory at the Love Shack.
 
Other non-conference midweek opponents include regional foes ULM, Nicholls State, and Little Rock on top of heading west on April 12-14 to compete against the Arizona Wildcats.  This series is sandwiched in the middle of a Conference USA slate that begins on March 22-24 with a three-game home series against Jacksonville State. 
 
The Bulldogs will also host league series versus Middle Tennessee, Sam Houston, and WKU while having road league series at FIU, defending CUSA champion Dallas Baptist, New Mexico State, and Liberty. 
 
LA Tech will then host the Conference USA Tournament, May 22-26, at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
 
TICKET INFORMATION
 
Season ticket renewals for the 2024 season are now available to 2023 season ticket holders. To renew your tickets, login to your account manager at https://am.ticketmaster.com/latech/ or call the LA Tech Athletics Ticket Office at (318) 257-3631. The deadline to renew season tickets is December 15.
 
For those interested in purchasing new season tickets or adding additional season tickets for the 2024 season, the waitlist remains open. To be added to the waitlist, click here to complete the application. The LA Tech Athletics Ticket Office will begin working through the waitlist on January 8, 2024. The waitlist will be prioritized by LTAC membership level and tickets will be allocated accordingly, based on availability.
 
Single-game right field berm tickets and standing room only tickets will be made available for purchase beginning January 15.
 
During the 2024 season, a limited number of single-game reserved chairback tickets may be available on a game-by-game basis. Any opportunities for unclaimed single-game tickets will go on sale 24 hours before the game, if available. PREMIUM GROUP SALES
 
New to 2024 is the Bulldog Backstop, a new premium area located on the concourse directly behind home plate. The Bulldog Backstop features semi-private covered seating with drink rails and is available for group sizes of 12 or 24. Prices start as low as $300 per game with the option to purchase private catering through Aramark.

 

The Hot Corner Suite is back in 2024 and can be reserved on a single-game basis with packages anywhere from 20 to 40 tickets. Enjoy the comfort of being indoors with outdoor access and the option to purchase private catering (food, drink, and bar) through Aramark. The Hot Corner is available on a per-game basis with prices as low as $500.
 


Finally, the Home Plate Suite is available on a limited basis for non-conference games only. This private suite, located directly behind home plate, includes 10 tickets with the option to purchase private catering with prices starting at $500.

2024 CUSA Tournament
 
Louisiana Tech University is the proud host of the 2024 CUSA Baseball Tournament. Season ticket holders will be guaranteed the opportunity to purchase tickets for the conference tournament. However, due to CUSA postseason ticket allocation requirements, exact seat locations are not guaranteed for the tournament. Tickets will be allocated based on seating tiers and LTAC priority.
