ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (13-10, 6-7 C-USA)
Louisiana Tech broke a two-game skid with a 76-65 win at home over FIU Thursday. The win was Coach Stoehr's 100th career conference win (Northwestern State & Louisiana Tech).

LA Tech's bench has reached double figures 21 times this season, scored 20-plus on 13 occasions & poured in a season-high 48 points. It was the fourth time this season of 40-plus points.

Tech has used nine players in a starting role this season and five different starting fives, including four in the last five games in the absence of Anna Larr Roberson. Roberson returned to action in her first home game since Dec. 18, scoring 16 points and moving into No. 38 on the all-time scoring list, passing Shantel Hardison.

Keiunna Walker reached double figures for the 17th straight game and is four points away from reaching 1,800 for her career. Walker's 17.1 PPG ranks second among Conference USA.

Lotte Sant continues to shoot well from deep, hitting 55 percent (28-51) in conference play this season and moved past Brooke Stoehr and Keirra Anthony for No. 8 on the all-time made threes in the win over FIU.

Tech leads Conference USA in field goal percentage (.442) and is No. 2 in three-point percentage (.337), free throw percentage (.776), and assists per game (13.6) while averaging 65.7 PPG. Defensively, the Techsters ranks second in the conference in scoring defense (60.7 PPG) and defensive field goal percentage (.385).

Tech is 9-0 this season when holding teams to less than 60 points and 8-0 when outrebounding the opposition. Tech is also 8-1 when scoring more than 70.

ABOUT FLORIDA ATLANTIC (12-11, 7-7 C-USA)
Florida Atlantic began the year winning eight of their first nine non-conference matchups, including seven in a row. However, after a 2-2 start to conference play, the Owls have only won two of their last eight and have dropped their previous two outings after taking care of UAB at home (80-75).

The Owls are led by second-year head coach Jennifer Sullivan who has already posted seven more wins from her first season in Boca Raton.

On the court, FAU is led by freshman standout Aniya Hubbard, averaging 14.0 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 2.4 APG, and 2.7 SPG. The 5-8 guard from Hoover, Ala., has asserted herself in the freshman of the year conversation, winning Freshman of the Week four times, including last week after pouring in a career-high 28 points over UAB.

FAU brings a top-four defense in the league allowing 65.4 PPG while scoring 65.5 a game on offense. The Owls are also one of the best rebounding teams in C-USA, averaging 39.8 per contest, ranking third, and are top-four in steals per game at 8.48.

THE SERIES
Saturday's matchup will be the 11th overall meeting between the Techsters and the Owls on the hardwood, with Tech leading the series 8-2, including a perfect 4-0 mark in Ruston.

LA Tech rattled off six straight to start the series, which began in 1986-87. Tech and FAU have split the last four meetings alternating wins, with Tech taking last year's matchup in Ruston.

Four meetings have been decided by two possessions or less, while five have been by 14 or more points.
