QUOTABLES
Interim head coach Colton Primm

"We played just good enough to stand our ground today.  We did not finish the event the way we would have liked to, but overall, I am proud of our effort against a competitive field in difficult conditions.  It was good to see all five guys contribute to the scoring.  We are close and our guys can sense that."

"Coach [Matt] Terry put together a challenging spring schedule that is helping prepare us for the conference tournament.  We have been on the road for three weeks straight and I think the off-week is coming at the right time.  It gives our guys a chance to rest and clean up some of the little things before we head to Mississippi State in two weeks for our final regular event."

NOTABLES
  • LA Tech was the top finisher of any Conference USA team, finishing ahead of North Texas, UTSA, and Rice.
  • LA Tech recorded top-100 wins over Southern Miss (62) and ULM (85).
  • The 285 shot in round two was the fourth lowest round of the season by the Bulldogs.
  • Thomas Henson's 67 in round two was the best round of golf at the event (only one other individual shot a 67). His 67 tied for the best round this season while his seven birdies in the round also tied for the most by a Bulldog this season.
